While the Isle of Palms market is right here in Isle of Palms, if you’re looking for some variety, the surrounding area, including Charleston and other towns, often host farmers and craft markets as well. Please note these markets are a 15- to 20-minute drive from Isle of Palms.

Isle of Palms Farmers Market

Open seasonally, the 2024 season starts in June. Shop the market for things like custom tea blends, handcrafted sauces, seasonings, and jellies, art, accessories, jewelry, wood crafts, baked goods, and more. 

The market runs Thursdays throughout the summer and fall, 4-7 p.m. at 24 28th Avenue. This year’s dates are June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, and October 17.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market

Explore the market and its many artists’ and makers’ setups feature art, baked goods, fresh fruits and veggies, farm goods, and more. Enjoy the market and listen to live music while you stroll the stands. 

Visit the market Tuesdays 3:30-7 p.m. from April-September. It’s located at 645 Coleman Blvd in Mount Pleasant.

Awendaw Farmers and Crafters Market

Stop by and shop clothing, accessories, fresh fruits and veggies, arts, crafts, and more. There will be children’s activities, and your furry family members are welcome, but please keep them on a leash. The event is sponsored by Awendaw Chicken Club.

Find them at 4765 N Hwy 17 in Awendaw. The market is open March-December, every Sunday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Charleston Farmers Market

The town is filled with historic Southern charm and is the perfect day trip from Isle of Palms. Plan your day trip around one of their farmers markets. You’ll have a delicious selection of organic foods, baked goods, dairy products, meats, and more. Stop by and be wowed by amazing arts and crafts from local craftspeople.

The market is open Saturdays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. April-November, and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in December. Along with credit cards, the market accepts WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program, Senior Farmers Markets Nutrition Program, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Sunday Brunch Farmers Market

Stop by “The Market With Heart!” and pick up unique items created by local artists and craftspeople as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jam, honey, clothing, jewelry, and more. There may be food trucks available, and you can sit and enjoy the live music if you need a break from shopping.

The market is held every Sunday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Join the fun at 1977 Maybank Hwy in Charleston, located behind The Pour House.

North Charleston/Hanahan Farmers Market

Come take your pick off organic foods, baked goods, herbs, fruits and veggies, jam, honey, and more. You can also shop for arts and crafts for the perfect gift or souvenir.

The market is held Thursdays, 12-7 p.m. April-October. In addition to credit cards, the market accepts WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program, Senior Farmers Markets Nutrition Program, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

West Ashley Farmers Market

The market is sponsored by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) and the City of Charleston Parks Department. It features crafts, art, fresh produce, honey, baked goods, food trucks, flowers, and live music to enjoy while you shop.

Opening day is April 24, 2024, and the market is open Wednesdays, 3-7 p.m. throughout the season. The market is located at Ackerman Park, 55 Sycamore Avenue in Charleston.

The Town Market

The market features over 60 local vendors, live music, food trucks, horse rides, a petting zoo, and more. Stick around until dusk for a movie on the big outdoor screen! 

The market takes place the first Friday of the month, March-December. Stop by 1122 Dills Bluff Road in Charleston 6-9 p.m.
