Sea Cabin 212 A Description

Come to stay at the fabulous Sea Cabin Condominiums, a condo complex in Isle of Palms offering a premium location on the island! This adorable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom second-floor condo has all you need for a little escape to the shore, and this unit, in particular, has been completely redone! Some might even say it’s the best unit in the complex, with custom lighting, sleek flooring, and an economic use of space that makes this lovely home just right for a beach vacation.

Things to know prior to booking your stay:

  • The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
  • Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children and even perfect for some small adults. They’re also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”.
  • We have upgraded the standard mattress pads to luxury, custom sized mattresses that are very comfortable!
  • All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen!
  • Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
  • Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or you can download an app to pay.
  • Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass during peak season (June 1 – August 1). One extra pass may be requested during the off season.
  • The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round.
  • No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
  • No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.
  • This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
Step into the entryway of the home and you’ll find two built in bunk beds, allowing for more sleeping space—a great spot for the kids to take! There’s a door that can close and give this area more privacy, giving you the convenience of a second bedroom whenever you’d like. The full bathroom is right off the hall, with a gorgeous walk-in shower and muted beach colors.

Continue on and you’ll come across the open concept living and kitchen area. The kitchen offers a stylish look and stainless steel appliances, as well as a coffee maker! Make your own meals as much or as little as you’d like, as the kitchen is fully equipped for all your vacation cooking needs and offers a spacious fridge with French doors for storing leftover dishes from local restaurants. Counter seating offers four barstools, where you can grab a quick snack or get some work done from home.

The living area offers plenty of seating, with a comfy sofa and two additional chairs, as well as two additional pieces that can be used as either a coffee table or pushed together for extra sleeping space. A large flat screen TV makes the area primed for relaxing, whether it’s between trips to the beach or after a long day exploring the isle. The bedroom offers up a luxurious king-sized bed, and its own private flat-screen TV.

From the living area, sliding doors lead out to the balcony, which offers an outdoor sofa and two seats—and most of all, ocean views! Enjoy this space night or day and immerse yourself in the ocean breeze. When you want to head to the shore, you’ll find it’s only a walk away from the unit, and that you have access to the complex pool and kiddie pool. In addition, this condo is within walking distance from the local county park, restaurants, nightlife, boutique shopping, and ice cream shops!

The Sea Cabin Condominiums are 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. The complex has a very large pool and a kiddie pool. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves.

Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby.  Shopping, dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.

Bed Layout: The condo sleeps 6, but we recommend no more than 4 guests.
Bedroom has a King Bed with 50" TV.
The living room sofa can be put together to allow for sleeping.
The hallway consists of bunk beds built-in to the wall - perfect for small children!

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! 

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.
