A Little About Myself And Family

My wife and I moved to Charleston in 2007 with our three daughters. I have been a Realtor for over 20 years in Charleston and other parts of the country. I enjoy helping families find or sell real estate property and in doing so have produced over 75 million in real estate sales volume. Some of my other interests are: boating, woodworking, traveling with my wife of 35 years, and spending time with our grandchildren. We also enjoy volunteering at our local Church.

My primary goals have not changed over the years which is to help individuals, families and investors find the ideal property be it a personal residence, or an investment property. The over arching goal is to make the process enjoyable, seamless and ultimately profitable. I work closely with all these partners on behalf of my clients to reduce their amount of time and stress dealing with all the various aspects of the buying and selling process. I first worked with Bob Rosene in 2015 when he helped me find a real estate investment on the Isle of Palms. I lived 8 hours away and was in Charleston on vacation. I walked in to Carroll Realty with no appointment, sat down with Bob and that was the beginning of a long-term agent/client relationship. Bob asked all the right questions to understand what type of property we were looking for and as he was doing so, he was also educating us since it was our first time with a beach rental. He took us to see several different options that day and at the end of the day, it was clear that we were interested in condos. We left the IOP and returned home.  We put an offer in on one we saw that day that in the end, did not go through. Bob continued to follow up with us when other units became available. He often went to the property and walked us through via video. In the Fall of 2015, we closed on a unit. Bob was very involved in the inspection and helping me get quotes to include as part of the inspection negotiation. Living so far away, I relied on Bob to do a lot of the local leg work for me. In my opinion, he went well beyond what any other real estate agent would have done. He could have sent me on my way with a list of names and numbers for handyman, etc., but he didn’t. The week before closing, a hurricane came though and Bob was at the property giving me updates on the flooding, or lack there of thank goodness. I had the property for almost 3 years when I contacted Bob about listing it for sale. Bob met with me and was prepared, providing comps and suggested list price that he had justified through the comps. We listed the property and he kept in close contact with me with updates. I eventually decided to have some work done on the condo and Bob helped me once again with not only quotes but also coordinating when the work was done, including the inspection punch list. I can’t emphasize enough how helpful he was, especially because I was so far away.  I have worked with real estate agents in the past and at some point in the process, I always had that experience where the agent is telling you to make a higher offer, take a lower offer, etc. not because it really is the best thing for you, but because they want to move on. I never had that experience with Bob. He is genuinely a good person trying to help other people reach their goals. He’s not looking out only for himself and how much money he is going to make. My unit was only a condo and I know he had listings for homes that were many times more lucrative for him. He never rushed me and he was always there to help with anything. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone who is looking for someone to be on their side in any real estate transaction
