Avrum is a native Charlestonian who grew up on the Peninsula and spent his summers as a child on Sullivan's Island where the ocean breezes helped beat the Lowcountry heat. Having lived on the Island for most of his entire life, Avrum now lives on a quiet stretch of land along the Wando River. He has been involved with Real Estate brokerage for some 20 years and is one of the area's most consistent Top Producers. Matt was born and raised in Charleston, SC, a descendant of Charlestonians dating back to the Civil War. A product of Bishop England high School and the University of South Carolina, Matt joined his uncle Avrum and Carroll Realty in 2003. He immediately earned his SC Broker License in 2005 and has contributed to some of the highest sales volumes and prices on the Isle of Palms during his tenure. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and is a member of several committees including Professional Standards and Grievance. He is also Loss Mitigation Certified and active in the commercial real estate arena. He is experienced in heirs property, grant funding for real estate, tax-deferred exchange, and land issues ranging from coastal tidelands to septic/well systems. Matt takes pride in building relationships with clients and getting results through a no-nonsense, common sense approach to business.
