Rentals FAQ

1. WHAT DOES “LINENS INCLUDED” MEAN?

Linens include bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towel sets, and kitchen towels. Also included is a “starter” set of things like soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It does not include beach towels.

2. IF LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED, WHERE CAN I RENT THEM?

We recommend renting linens from IOP Cleaning & Mgmt. Their phone number is 843-886-9687. You can view their rates on our website under Rental Services. They will deliver and pick up the linens free of charge.

3. ARE BEACH CHAIRS AND TOYS PROVIDED?

Beach chairs and toys are not provided at every property unless specifically stated as part of the property’s description.

4. WHERE DO I COME TO CHECK-IN?

All guests should come to the Carroll Realty office at 103 Palm Blvd, Isle of Palms, SC 29451 to check-in and pick up their keys. Check-in time is 3:00pm unless otherwise approved by a Carroll Realty employee.

5. WHAT IF I ARRIVE AFTER HOURS TO CHECK-IN?

All guests should come to the Carroll Realty office to pick up their keys. There is a black drop box located across from our office door where you will find a package with your name on it and the keys inside that package.

Please Note: Your package will only be left in this box for you to pick up if your reservation has been paid in full. Our emergency after-hours number is 843-817-HELP (4357).

6. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES CARROLL REALTY ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Master Card, or a personal check for all reservations; however, we will not accept personal checks 14 days prior to your intended arrival date – you will need to pay either with a credit card, certified check, or money order.

7. WHAT IS THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE POLICY?

The city of Isle of Palms asks that renters please respect the privacy of their neighbors. The noise ordinance is strictly enforced and includes stereos, televisions, and any other noise (especially around the pool and deck areas). Quiet is required Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 10:00am and Friday and Saturday from 11:00pm to 10:00 am. The island police will issue tickets of up to $1087 for violations of this policy

8. WHAT HAPPENS IF A RENTER DOES RECEIVE A TICKET FOR NOISE?

If a renter is fined for a noise ordinance violation, Carroll Realty reserves the right to charge the renter as well for violation of their policies. Please remember that these properties are privately owned and that Carroll Realty must also protect the property owner’s interests. Owner’s rental licenses could be lost if there are more than 3 noise violations issued within one year for a particular property.

9. ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, BEACH FIRES, OR FIREWORKS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH?

No. These are prohibited at all times on the beach and tickets will be issued.

10. WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR HAVING DOGS ON THE BEACH?

On IOP, dogs may run free on the beach from 5:00am until 8:00am from April 1 to September 14 and from 4:00pm until 10:00am from September 15 through March 31. You must have leash in hand and control over the animal at all times. At all other times dogs must be on leash and under complete control, even in the water. Dog excrement must be picked up and disposed of properly. The City has provided trash barrels along the beach and at the end of beach access paths. There is a dog park located behind the Recreation Center at #24 – 28th Ave.
